NOTICE: HAPS in-person groups and classes are beginning to reopen with precautionary measures in place. We continue to monitor the local COVID-19 situation and have implemented protocol that we feel is in the best interest of our participants, instructors, volunteers, and donated facilities. All participants must register or re-register and be pre-enrolled in order to attend in-person sessions. Contact the HAPS office for details. Stay connected to HAPS by checking our calendar of events or checking our Facebook page for the latest updates.

Live music is created and used throughout this session to facilitate the exercises by providing auditory cues that instruct the brain and body how to move in space, time, and with how much force - all based on the Neurologic Music Therapy protocol.

These three key elements are guided by the nuances in music including rhythm, tempo, meter, harmony, melody, dynamics and more.

MUSIC THERAPY IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD. For more information on the HAPS music therapy class, contact Angelica Rodriguez at 713.313.1652.
