HAPS is back for the 23rd consecutive year as an offical Run for a Reason charity in the 2019 Chevron Houston Marathon which will take place January 19th and 20th. Last year, HAPS gathered a team of nearly 150 walkers on Saturday for the ABB 5K event and over 40 runners on Sunday for the half and full marathon events to raise awareness for Parkinson's disease and to generate valuable funding for the organization. This year, our goal is to have even more walkers and runners and raise $115,000 to fund programs and services in our area for those living with the disease. In 2018, HAPS was proud to be awarded with Top Fundraising Team and 2nd Place Overall Top Fundraising Charity honors, and was a Charity Challenge Winner as the charity with this highest number of donations!

There are many ways you can get involved:

Join TEAM HAPS for Houston's Most Important Race Weekend: Saturday, January 19, 2019 - ABB 5K Fun Run/Walk and Sunday, January 20, 2019 - Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon.
