The mission of the Houston Area Parkinson Society is to improve the quality of life for those affected by Parkinson's disease through services, education and advocacy.

symsposium logoHAPS offers a full-day symposium, bienially, featuring local and national experts in the field of Parkinson's who are familiar with the latest in Parkinson's research, treatment and disease management strategies and is presented at no charge to attendees.

The HAPS Annual Educational Symposium will be held Saturday, August 5th at Bayou City Event Center located at 9401 Knight Road Houston, TX 77045. This year's program Parkinson's Disease: 200 years later, will focus on what we have learned about the disease since Parkinson's was first described 200 years ago. Registration is now full.
