Houston Area Parkinson Society is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization. Established by volunteers in 1974, HAPS provides services, programs and education to individuals with Parkinson's disease. Your generous gifts support our essential services, education, programs and outreach.

TRIBUTE GIFTS:

Memorial Gifts:
Give a gift in memory of a friend or family member. HAPS will send an acknowledgement informing the family of your thoughtful gift. The amount of the memorial will not be disclosed.

Honorariums:
Give a gift in honor of a special friend or family member. It is a great way to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday, wedding or bar/bat mitzvah. HAPS will send an acknowledgement informing the honoree of your gift. The amount of the gift will not be disclosed. 

RESTRICTED GIFTS:

If you would like your gift to be used for a specific program, you will need to "restrict" your gift and designate which program you would like your funds to support. If you would like more information on HAPS programs, click here or contact us by phone at 713-626-7114.

Examples of restricted gifts: Respite Care, Free Exercise and Support Groups, Free Transportation, Emergency Financial Aid.

MATCHING GIFTS:
Many corporations offer matching giving opportunities for their employees; this can double or triple your giving. To find out if your company has a matching gift program contact the HR department and ask for matching gift information and criteria.
